Hey everyone...

I'm new to blogging so be patient with me as I venture into this new world. This blog will be dedicated to Microsoft Business Intelligence topics and I'll try to keep things current and interesting.

A little about me...

I'm the BI Practice Director for Qortex, LLC. We're a Microsoft Gold Certified partner based out of Englewood, Colorado. We focus on Microsoft BI, SharePoint, and Dynamics CRM.

I've been in technology for 25 years and I've spent the past 10 years in the Microsoft Stack.

My practice is focused on delivering Microsoft BI soluitons using SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Performance Point Services in SharePoint.

My role as Practice Director is to develop goto market strategies, develop solutions, define the marketing material for the solutions, and provide pre-sales support to the sales team.

I truely love the role I'm in and I especially like meeting with customers, understanding their issues, and providing consulting services solutions to meet their needs.

Since this is my first post I thought I'd leave the topic focused on introductions. I'll be posting comments on how we're developing solutions, the technology we're using, and the various issues we run into on a regular basis. I'll try to update the blog every day so check back for new posts.
